Once a year Tom Goldblatt assembles a small group of top economists, writers, and thinkers to share perspectives on pertinent issues related to the US and global economy. Since its inception in 2010, he has hosted a lively conversation covering the outlook for the economy and the transactions markets, interest rate predictions, state of the deal market, outlook for inflation, and best guesses at what the coming quarters’ economic growth will look like. This event typically draws more than 200 participants eager to gain a deeper understanding of the state of the deal market.

For more than a decade Tony Nasharr of Polsinelli and Tom Goldblatt of Ravinia Capital have hosted an invitation-only seminar for executives who are looking for their next place to land. This networking event brings in recruiters who share insights and gives everyone an opportunity to meet each other as future employees, bosses, or colleagues.

Tom founded the firm in 1998.
His extensive experience ranging from sales to CEO has been pivotal in the firm's success, earning him the 'Distressed Mergers and Acquisitions Dealmaker of the Year' award twice; once in 2014 and then a decade later, in 2024. His academic journey is equally impressive, with a BA in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a JD from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
A respected voice in the industry, Tom frequently shares insights on distressed investing and strategic financing. Tom is the host of several annual business community events.
